What ExplainMyScan is

ExplainMyScan is a patient information service. It takes the medical reports and images someone already has and explains them in plain language, so they understand the document they were handed and know what to ask at their appointment.

It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, and it does not replace a healthcare professional. Explanations are generated by an artificial intelligence system from the files the person uploads.

Using the site

Browsing the site is free beyond the cost of your own connection. Analysis services require an account and a paid plan, under the terms set out in the terms of service.

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to upload files you have no right to, or third-party content without their consent.

Intellectual property

The text, design, logo and code of this site belong to SmartSites SL, except third-party content identified as such.

The medical files you upload remain yours. They are not used to train models and are not shared with anyone beyond what the privacy policy describes.

Governing law

This relationship is governed by Spanish law. Where consumer law allows, any dispute will be heard by the courts of the consumer’s place of residence.
